Irish Pony Club Information
Membership
> Open to boys and girls up to 23 years of age
> Ordinary members are those who have not attained the age of 18 years
> Associate members are those of 18 - 21 years
> Senior Associate members are 21 - 23 years
Membership automatically
terminates at the end of the year when a members becomes 23 years old.
The current annual subscription is Euro90 per member.
Dress Code
The Irish Pony Club applies a strict dress code to all active members and the following attire MUST be worn at all Leitrim Branch events including rallies, camps and official competitions. However, you should consult the relevant current tack sheet (see links below) for the activity that you are attending.
On designated training sessions a relaxation on the listed clothing attire below is allowed with the exception that approved head gear and back protectors MUST be worn.
We impress on parents to support these rulings as the Leitrim Branch of the Irish Pony Club prides itself on encouraging its members to turn out in the proper clothing as agreed by all Pony Clubs in Ireland.
List of Clothing (Compulsory)
Cream Jodhpurs
White Polo Shirt or White Buttoned Shirt (No Round Neck / T Shirts)
Green Leitrim Branch Pony Club Sweat Shirt
Irish Pony Club Tie and Badge
Jodhpurs with Chaps (usually brown or black) or Long Boots
Riding Hat Code Pas 015 BS EN 1384 with CE Mark & Quality Symbol BSI SAI or ASTM F1163.
Back Protector if jumping (level 3 compulsory for cross country).
